Convertly (“the app”) is designed to respect your privacy. In short: Convertly does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking.
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-up is required, and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details.
- No analytics or usage tracking. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) or third-party trackers.
- No advertising networks are integrated into the app.
Data stored on your device
Your preferences — such as your favourite currencies, base (“home”) currency, and appearance settings — and the most recent exchange rates are stored locally on your device only, so the app works offline. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.
Exchange rate requests
To show up-to-date rates, the app requests reference exchange rates from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API (frankfurter.dev). These requests contain only the technical parameters needed to fetch rates (such as currency codes and dates) and no personal information. As with any internet request, the service provider and its content-delivery network may process standard connection metadata (for example, your IP address) to deliver the response; this is not shared with us.
Children’s privacy
Convertly is suitable for all ages and does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
